What is CSA? Community Supported Agriculture is a way for you to support farms in your local community by
purchasing garden "shares" for the growing season. Shares are purchased before the growing season begins. During the growing season you receive a "share", a market basket of freshly picked vegetables everyweek directly from your local garden. Your family has an opportunity to see where your food comes from and how it is produced. Most vegetables taste best and are most nutritional when freshly picked! CSA Season: 18-20 weeks beginning approximately late Spring weekly through early Fall. Each Share consists approximately 1/2 bushel of fresh vegetable harvested from our garden, grown with no chemical fertilizer and no pesticides. Harvest starts in June and continues into October. `*arugula *beets *beans *grapes *peas *cabbage *carrots *swiss chard *cucumbers *herbs *garlic *kale *kohlrabi *lettuce *onions *green pepper *potatoes *tomatillo *brocolli * winter squash *radishes *spinach *summer squash *tomatoes |
